Social Fund sets out benefit limits for workers injured in attacks

Russia’s Social Fund said on October 9 that the maximum one-off insurance payment for workers injured in attacks in the country was RUB163,600. It presented the figures at the national occupational safety forum.

The fund said it had provided the necessary insurance payments to affected workers and their families. Employees may also qualify for monthly support. The maximum sick leave benefit for an occupational injury or disease is approximately RUB503,000.

The fund also provides rehabilitation equipment where needed and reimburses spending on purchased medicines. The figures are ceilings for the respective benefits, rather than an identical payment to every injured worker.

According to the fund, Russian businesses recorded 790 workplace accidents linked to attacks by Ukrainian armed forces in 2025. The national occupational safety week runs from October 7 to 10 in the federal territory of Sirius. Its theme is socially oriented technologies as a means of achieving national goals.
