Solanke’s late equaliser earns 10-man Tottenham a point at United

Dominic Solanke scored in stoppage time to secure a 1–1 draw for 10-man Tottenham at Manchester United in the Premier League’s sixth round on October 10.

Bryan Mbeumo put the hosts ahead in the 73rd minute. Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off five minutes later, but the visitors recovered when Solanke scored in the second minute of added time.

United’s winless league run extended to four matches. They had six points from six rounds and occupied 12th place in the table.

Tottenham remained without a league win this season and stood 18th with three points. United travel to Leeds on October 18 for their next league match. Tottenham host Coventry City the following day, October 19.
