Toronto recalls Russian goaltender Artur Akhtyamov from farm team

Toronto has recalled Russian goaltender Artur Akhtyamov from its farm team, Sport-Express reported. The NHL also confirmed the recall.

Akhtyamov, 24, took part in Toronto's preseason preparations before being assigned to the American Hockey League in late September.

Toronto selected him 106th overall in the 2020 NHL draft. He played three games for the NHL team in the 2025/26 season.
