Torpedo moves Rotor match to Arena Khimki

Moscow's Torpedo will host Rotor at Arena Khimki after certification of its Eduard Streltsov stadium was suspended for additional inspection, the club said.
Torpedo received notice on October 16 that the stadium had been certified for official matches. The Russian Football Union commission suspended the certificate on October 19.
The club said the required work was continuing. With little time remaining before kickoff, it chose Khimki to avoid the risk of a forfeited match.
The round 15 fixture will be played at Arena Khimki on October 23. It had been intended as the first official match at Torpedo's rebuilt home stadium.
The new stadium opened on September 5. RBC reported that construction had been under way since 2022 and that capacity increased from 13450 to 15076 after reconstruction. Torpedo last played at its former home ground on October 31, 2019.
