Trubachyov appointed acting head coach of Metallurg Magnitogorsk

Yuri Trubachyov has been appointed acting head coach of Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Club director Alexey Zhloba announced the change after Vladimir Vorobyov and Yevgeny Mikhalkyevich left the team.

Zhloba said both coaches departed in the morning, but their contracts remained in force and legal issues had not been resolved.

Yaroslav Khabarov, Alexander Sudnitsin and Klemen Mohoric will work on Trubachyov’s staff. The director said a new head coach would be presented shortly.

Vorobyov had been acting head coach since October following Andrey Razin’s suspension. Trubachyov will lead the team in its next game.
