Alexandra Ignatova leads after short program at Denis Ten Memorial

The official results place Alexandra Ignatova first after the short program with 77.39 points. The event lists her as an AIN2 entrant. The women’s free skate is scheduled for Friday, October 9, at Halyk Arena.
TASS reported that the 22-year-old skater completed a clean run-through in training. She performed a quadruple Lutz, a triple loop and a triple Salchow, as well as a triple Lutz–Euler–triple Salchow–double Axel combination and a separate double Axel.
The Denis Ten Memorial is taking place in Almaty from October 7 to 11. The final standings will be determined after the free skate.
