AvtoVAZ announces overhaul of Lada dealership network in Moscow
On October 20, AvtoVAZ says it is restructuring and renewing its Lada dealership network in the Moscow region. The company said it had signed cooperation protocols with two new partners.
The response followed a Drom report about a decline in the number of official dealers in Moscow and the surrounding region. The automotive website said the manufacturer’s online list had shrunk from roughly fifteen dealerships to six.
Drom attributed the changes to differing circumstances: some dealers faced economic difficulties, while others switched to different brands.
Lada sales in Russia reached 244 626 vehicles in January–September 2026, up 0.4% from the same period a year earlier, according to the manufacturer.
AvtoVAZ said several other companies had expressed interest in cooperation. The manufacturer plans to announce new dealership openings separately.
