Brentford preserve unbeaten start with draw at Aston Villa

Kristoffer Ajer equalised two minutes after John McGinn’s goal as the sides drew 2-2 in the Premier League on October 10.

Yehor Yarmoliuk put the visitors ahead in the 10th minute. Nicolas Jackson replied in the 12th, converting a loose ball after Emiliano Buendía’s effort.

McGinn restored Villa’s lead in the 77th minute. Ajer then combined with Jaidon Anthony to make it 2-2 in the 79th.

Brentford remain unbeaten after six league matches. The club said this is their longest unbeaten opening to a league campaign since 2006/07.

The visitors have 10 points and sit fourth. Villa are 14th with five points and are still seeking their first home win of the league season.
