Elderly driver critically injured in collision with Perth police car
A man in his 80s is in critical condition after a collision with a police vehicle in Perth's southern suburbs on the morning of October 12.

The Hyundai driver was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. Two police officers, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s, were taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital for precautionary checks.
A police helicopter subsequently tracked the suspected stolen vehicle to a caravan park in Coogee. According to the newspaper, its 27-year-old driver attempted to flee on foot but was arrested shortly afterwards.
