Tishkovets forecasts a shift to deeper autumn in Moscow from 15 October

Moscow’s golden autumn will end by 14 October, with deeper autumn expected from 15 to 28 October, according to a forecast by Phobos weather specialist Yevgeny Tishkovets published by RIA Novosti on 9 October.

The forecaster expects temperatures to fall from the middle of next week. Before that, rain is expected to reach the capital on Monday, 12 October, when daytime temperatures could rise to 17 degrees Celsius.

Moscow 24’s account of Tishkovets’s forecast puts Monday’s daytime temperatures at 14–17 degrees and overnight temperatures at 9–12 degrees. Conditions are then expected to change as the warm spell gives way to cooler weather.

In a separate forecast for the coming days, Moscow meteorological bureau specialist Tatyana Pozdnyakova also warned of changing weather on the evening of 9 October. The projected cooling marks the transition between the autumn phases Tishkovets identified through the end of the month.
