Ifop poll puts Le Pen ahead in every tested French presidential runoff

Marine Le Pen led each opponent in the French presidential runoff scenarios tested by Ifop. Her closest matchup was against Édouard Philippe, with 56% support to his 44%.

Le Pen drew between 34% and 38% in first-round scenarios, depending on the candidate lineup. Jean-Luc Mélenchon received between 15% and 20%, while Raphaël Glucksmann and Philippe received between 12% and 16%.

In a hypothetical runoff against Mélenchon, 68% backed Le Pen and 32% supported her opponent. The figures measure voting intentions under specified candidate choices for the 2027 presidential election.

Ifop conducted the survey from October 17 to October 19. Its representative overall sample of 2081 people included 1928 registered voters, whose responses were used to assess voting intentions.
