Iran's defence minister says measures prepared against possible US use of massive bomb

Iran has prepared measures against possible US use of the non-nuclear weapon known as the “mother of all bombs”, Defence Minister Mehrdad Akhlaghi said.
On October 18, ILNA quoted the minister as saying that the necessary measures had been considered and Iran was confidently continuing its work.
CNN, citing US military officials, reported that options for renewed strikes on Iran could include the weapon. The report described a possible scenario for a resumption of attacks.
Akhlaghi also warned of consequences for American military personnel in the region. He said Washington should focus on withdrawing its forces safely.
