Khabarovsk Region announces business course for military veterans

The fifth intake of the free Heroes of the East: Business for Our Own programme will run in Khabarovsk Region from November 2 to 13. The region announced the course for military participants, veterans and their families on October 9.
The My Business centre runs the course under the Efficient and Competitive Economy national project. Centre director Ksenia Prokhorova said 38 people had already completed training. The new intake will operate simultaneously in Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur for the first time.
Participants will develop business ideas, study markets and sales, and prepare financial models, business plans and presentations. Sessions with established entrepreneurs will explore their experience of launching and developing companies, alongside available support measures.
Classes in Khabarovsk will be in person. Komsomolsk-on-Amur will combine in-person sessions with remote access to selected modules. Residents of other municipalities will be able to participate online.
Graduates will receive certificates from the centre. According to the regional press service, these provide access to assistance with website development, business diagnostics, advertising and other services. The programme also caters to people seeking to develop existing businesses.
