Lut reports 130 million tonnes of grain harvested in Russia

Russian farmers have harvested 130 million tonnes of grain in bunker weight from 95% of crop areas, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said during a visit to Ryazan region on October 16.
Lut said Russia’s grain food security was already fully assured for 2026. She also said the harvest results provided a basis for maintaining strong export potential.
The 130 million tonnes of grain includes 95 million tonnes of wheat. Comparing the wheat figure with last year, Lut reported an increase of two million tonnes.
The final 2026 harvest total will follow completion of the harvesting campaign. Earlier in October, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said the full-year grain harvest was expected to reach about 140 million tonnes.
