Rosseti raises repair-programme funding above 135 billion roubles

Rosseti has increased funding for its 2026 repair programme to more than 135 billion roubles, chief executive Andrei Ryumin told a meeting on preparations for the 2026/2027 heating season, the company reported on October 16.

Ryumin said work was following agreed schedules. The programme includes repairs to substations and power lines, clearing vegetation along line corridors and other work to prepare networks for peak demand.

More than 10,500 crews have been formed to respond to potential emergencies. The company said it had prepared 8,000 backup power sources with combined capacity exceeding 670 MW, along with equipment and material stocks.

The group is expanding its fleet of mobile modular substations rated at 35–110 kV to help restore electricity supplies more quickly after technical disruptions.

Ryumin also said group companies were ready to help address failures in other operators' networks and ownerless facilities across all 69 regions where they hold system-forming territorial grid organisation status. Regional headquarters can assign them to such work.
