Man seriously wounded in drone attack on car in Shebekino

A man was seriously wounded when a drone attacked a moving car in Shebekino on the evening of October 10. Belgorod's regional emergency headquarters said he was taken to hospital.

The headquarters attributed the attack to a Ukrainian FPV drone. It said the man was in serious condition with a traumatic leg amputation. Local self-defence personnel took him to Shebekino's central district hospital.

Regional officials said he was receiving the medical care he needed. The vehicle was damaged. RIA Novosti reported the details from a headquarters message on the Max platform, and Vzglyad published the same account.

The headquarters described the man's condition after he was taken to the district hospital. The seriousness of the injury does not establish his subsequent prognosis: officials reported that he was receiving care but gave no information about the later course of treatment.
