Moscow region discusses exchanges and robotics training in Shanghai

Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov discussed student exchanges, robotics and automation placements, and training for Chinese-language teachers during a visit to Shanghai, the regional government said.

Vorobyov visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a vocational college of science and innovation. The university teaches artificial intelligence fundamentals across disciplines, while the college uses training production lines to give students practical equipment experience.

Moscow-region colleges currently have 16 agreements with Chinese partners covering teacher placements and joint educational activities, including online events.

In November, Kolomna Agricultural College and Serpukhov College plan to enter machining competitions in China. Students from Energia College and Dmitrov Technical College plan to attend a Russian-Chinese youth IT tournament in Tianjin.

A visit by 150 Moscow-region school leaders to China to develop cooperation is also planned for the following month.
