Nearly 210,000 children receive flu vaccinations in Moscow region

Nearly 210,000 children in the Moscow region have received free flu vaccinations, regional Health Minister Maxim Zabelin said on 9 October.
Vaccination continues at children's registered clinics and at educational institutions. A parent's consent is required for vaccination at a school or kindergarten. The regional health ministry said a doctor examines each child and assesses their health before the procedure. Russian-made vaccines are used for immunisation.
Zabelin said vaccination helps reduce the risk of illness and severe infection. According to the ministry, appointments can be booked through the regional Zdorovye portal, the Dobrodel Zdorovye application, the Denis chatbot on MAX or the 122 telephone number. Vaccination at educational institutions also allows parents to arrange the procedure through their child's school or kindergarten.
