Rubio acknowledges US-Ukraine tensions after call with Zelensky

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio acknowledged tensions between Washington and Kyiv and said he had spoken with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 20.

Asked by reporters about bilateral strains, Rubio confirmed there were disagreements and linked them to the telephone contact.

The call with Zelensky lasted 45 minutes, the secretary of state said.
