Russia's central bank lowers official exchange rates for October 20

The Bank of Russia set its official dollar exchange rate for October 20 at 82.8504 rubles. The euro rate will be 93.2316 rubles and the yuan rate 12.3869 rubles.

The rates applicable over the weekend and on Monday, October 19, were 83.6177 rubles per dollar, 93.7187 rubles per euro and 12.4950 rubles per yuan.

The dollar rate fell by 76.73 kopecks, the euro by 48.71 kopecks and the yuan by 10.81 kopecks. The new official rates take effect on Tuesday.
