Russia's defence ministry claims improved positions for South grouping
Russia's defence ministry said on October 10 that its South grouping had taken more advantageous lines and positions. It put Ukrainian personnel losses on that front at more than 150.
The expanded bulletin listed fighting around Krasny Molochar, Kramatorsk, Belenkoye, Slovyansk and Semyonovka. The ministry reported strikes against mechanised, airmobile, mountain assault and territorial defence formations.
Alongside its personnel estimate, the ministry listed one armoured combat vehicle, 28 vehicles and five field artillery pieces. Those figures appeared in the same bulletin.
The statement about improved lines did not name a newly controlled settlement. It concerned unit positions on the front rather than a separately confirmed change in control of a town or village.
