Smolensk region agrees increased supplies for Belarusian motorcycle assembly

Vyazma Machine-Building Plant and Belarus's MotoVeloZavod have agreed to increase supplies to maintain stable workloads at their assembly operation in Smolensk Region, Governor Vasily Anokhin said.
A regional economic and investment task force reviewed the delegation's participation in the INNOPROM exhibition in Belarus. Alongside motorcycle production, it discussed road projects and the consumer market.

The discussions also covered a Belarusian shop in Smolensk and opportunities for other manufacturers to enter the regional market. The delegation met prospective investors at the exhibition.
Another joint project under discussion would establish a regional taxi-booking service and a fleet of electric taxis in Smolensk Region.
