Social Fund projects average non-working pensioner payment of 30,200 roubles in 2027

Russia’s average monthly old-age payment to non-working pensioners is projected to reach 30,200 roubles in 2027, up 2,400 roubles, the Social Fund said on October 16 alongside its draft budget.

Social Fund chairman Sergey Chirkov presented the draft budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028–2029 to the State Duma’s budget and tax committee.

The draft provides for two stages of insurance pension indexation: 6.8% from February 1 and 3.3% from April 1.

The Social Fund said the increase would cover 37.5 million people. It projects revenue of 19.9 trillion roubles in 2027, up 827 billion roubles from 2026.
