Sokolovskaya comments on Valieva’s return to Tutberidze

Coach Svetlana Sokolovskaya commented on Kamila Valieva’s departure for Eteri Tutberidze’s training group, telling TASS that the skater would be better off there.

Valieva, 20, had trained with Sokolovskaya in Tatyana Navka’s team since late April 2025. She had previously trained in Tutberidze’s group.

Valieva missed the Russian Grand Prix event in Kazan, where she had been entered, because of illness.
