Stavropol governor orders closer oversight of national project facilities

Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov instructed regional departments and local leaders to personally monitor deadlines and quality at national project facilities, the regional government's press service said.
At a regional government meeting, officials were told to identify risks to construction schedules promptly and meet their planned targets by the end of the year. Oversight must also cover facilities already in service. The governor said finishing construction and accounting for spending were insufficient if a facility did not function properly.
Figures presented at the meeting showed that the region is implementing 41 regional projects under national programmes in 2026. Their allocated funding exceeds 26.6 billion rubles, including more than 19.3 billion rubles from the federal budget.
The press service said major repairs had been completed at 31 schools under regional state programmes and regional projects. Construction and renovation continue at healthcare, education, cultural and sports facilities, alongside work on utility and road infrastructure.
Residents can submit feedback using QR codes at project sites. Vladimirov instructed the responsible officials to respond promptly to residents' complaints and improve public information about project results.
