Trump drops plan to livestream Nidal Hasan's execution

Donald Trump has decided not to livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan, convicted over the Fort Hood shooting. The Pentagon said on October 15 that Pete Hegseth supported the decision.
Trump announced the change on Truth Social. He said Hasan did not deserve the attention a live broadcast would bring.
Parnell told RIA Novosti that Trump and Hegseth had discussed the decision beforehand and were fully aligned. The Pentagon had previously confirmed plans to broadcast the execution.
Hasan was convicted over the 2009 shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, in which thirteen people were killed and more than thirty wounded.
The execution is scheduled for December 3.
