Turkish Airlines passengers report arranging travel from Minsk

A travel agent said clients flying with Turkish Airlines from Dalaman to Moscow bought train tickets after landing in Minsk and planned to seek compensation.
Lenta.ru cited the Roof of TourDom Telegram channel, which published the agent's account. She said the aircraft circled over Moscow before being diverted to the Belarusian capital because of restrictions affecting arrivals.
The agent also relayed her clients' view that the diversion to Minsk was improper. That is their assessment, not an established breach by the carrier. The source report included neither a Turkish Airlines response nor a decision on compensation.
Lenta.ru also reported that more than ten aircraft had been diverted to alternate airports because of restrictions in Moscow. Another Turkish Airlines flight, travelling from Istanbul to the Russian capital, was sent back to Turkey. That was a separate flight from the Dalaman service described by the agent.
