Two people discharged after emergency landing in Sretensk

On October 10, the pilot and an aviation technician involved in a light aircraft's emergency landing in Sretensk were discharged for outpatient observation. Governor Alexander Osipov said both were in satisfactory condition and examinations found no significant harm to their health.
According to RIA Novosti, the two were examined by an on-duty doctor and a surgeon and underwent laboratory tests and CT scans. Doctors also consulted a neurosurgeon in Chita. Osipov said the tests and scans showed no abnormalities.
The aircraft was flying from Sretensk to Blagoveshchensk. Transport investigators preliminarily determined that its engine failed during takeoff. The pilot and technician were taken to hospital for examination after the emergency landing.
Transport investigators opened a check into possible violations of aircraft operating rules. The engine-failure finding remains preliminary. The discharge announcement clarifies earlier reports that both people aboard had been hospitalised.
