Two residential blocks in Moscow’s Perovo receive playground and sports upgrades

Moscow has completed improvements to two residential blocks in Perovo, updating playgrounds, sports areas, pedestrian routes and rest spaces, Deputy Mayor Pyotr Biryukov said on October 16.
The first site lies between Metallurgov and Novogireyevskaya streets, Federativny Avenue and 11th Novogireyeva Avenue. Five playgrounds were installed with slides, bridges, rope climbing equipment, swings and hammocks.
A heated changing room was added beside the hockey rink. Outdoor workout equipment, exercise machines and table tennis tables were also installed. Courtyard roads and pavements were resurfaced, lawns restored and trees planted, Biryukov said.
The second block is bounded by 1st Vladimirskaya Street, Plekhanova Street, 4th Perova Polya Passage and Entuziastov Highway. Alongside playgrounds and sports facilities, it received a covered spectator stand and a heated changing room.
Both sites now have quiet rest areas. The second block also has swings, benches, flower beds and a new dovecote.
