Wildberries says pickup point owners do not pay it an agency fee
Wildberries said on October 19 that its arrangements with pickup point owners do not provide for an agency fee payable to the marketplace.
Partners pay for rent, refurbishment to the network’s standards, equipment and furniture. Once a point opens, they cover its operating costs, the company’s press service said.
A support program is available to new owners. If a point’s actual monthly remuneration falls below a specified fixed amount, Wildberries pays the difference.
The statement follows Ozon’s decision to introduce a minimum agency fee from December 1. Ozon said it would not exceed 1% of an owner’s remuneration for orders, with a fee of 1 ruble for points operating for less than a year.
