Witkoff and Dmitriev arrive at St. Petersburg’s Konstantinovsky Palace

US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian Direct Investment Fund head Kirill Dmitriev have arrived at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg, RBC reported.

Dmitriev met the American envoy at Pulkovo Airport on the morning of October 21. Witkoff flew in from Oslo, where he had taken part in talks on Ukraine the previous day.

The Kremlin had earlier announced preparations for a meeting between Witkoff and Vladimir Putin. Russia expects an account of the American negotiators’ contacts with Ukrainian and European representatives, alongside further discussions of issues in relations between Moscow and Washington.
