Yandex restores Calendar and cloud recording in Telemost

Yandex said Calendar was fully restored in its app and browser version. Cloud recording is available again in Telemost, while Mail users can send messages larger than 1 MB.

The company fixed file download and synchronisation errors in Disk's desktop app. Some files may still fail to open or download, it warned.

Document previews are available again in Mail, Disk and Telemost. Documents supports online editing, while downloaded files can be edited offline in its desktop app. That app remains free for all users until the end of 2026.

Restrictions followed drone attacks on Yandex data centres in October. Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadayev said his ministry had helped the company find additional sites for relocating key systems.

Yandex previously restored key Direct functions. By 14 October, it had recovered most functions of the Alice AI chat, Station speakers and televisions running YaOS.
