Zheng Qinwen withdraws from Hong Kong after missing Wuhan and Osaka

China's Zheng Qinwen will not compete at the WTA 250 tournament in Hong Kong, Tennis Asia reported.

She had already withdrawn from the WTA 1000 event in Wuhan and the WTA 250 event in Osaka. Hong Kong is another tournament she will miss following her title in Beijing.

On 11 October, Zheng won the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing by defeating Russia's Mirra Andreeva in the final.

The 24-year-old has six WTA singles titles. She also won Olympic gold in 2024.
