Bryansk governor reports 164 drones destroyed over the region

Bryansk regional governor Egor Kovalchuk said on October 10 that 164 fixed-wing drones had been destroyed over the region during the preceding 24 hours.
The governor published the daily account on his MAX channel. RIA Novosti and regional outlet AiF Bryansk reported his statement.
According to Kovalchuk, Russian Defence Ministry air-defence units and mobile fire teams from the BARS-Bryansk brigade took part in countering the attacks.
He also named mobile fire teams from Bryansk Transport Police and specialised Rosgvardiya units operating in the region among the forces involved.
The figure of 164 was presented as a combined daily total for the region. Kovalchuk described all the aircraft in that count as fixed-wing drones. His account was published on Saturday, while AiF Bryansk linked it to attacks repelled on Friday, October 9.
