Cian says key services restored after outages

Cian says it has restored the key functions of its website and app, while work on individual components continues. The company also announced that it is setting up an additional backup site.
Disruptions began on October 8 following an incident at an infrastructure partner's facility. Cian says its infrastructure is spread across several sites in different locations and has a backup system.
The company is now deploying another duplicate site and moving backup copies to geographically distributed storage with other providers. The announcement does not mean that the migration is complete or that every service is operating without restrictions.
Cian described the potential costs of redistributing services and data as insignificant. It also said the situation had not affected its business model or financial position. The statement did not specify the amount of those costs.
