Jodar and Lehecka set third-round meeting in Shanghai

Rafael Jodar and Jiri Lehecka advanced at the Shanghai Masters on October 10 and will meet in the third round for a place in the last 16.
Spain's Jodar beat Argentina's Thiago Agustin Tirante 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. According to the tournament's official report, he won 93% of his first-serve points in the second set and saved all six break points he faced in the deciding set.
Lehecka of the Czech Republic also needed three sets, overcoming Portugal's Nuno Borges 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The Shanghai Masters organisers confirmed both results.
The 20-year-old Jodar is making his Shanghai debut. Ranked No. 13, he began the season outside the top 100, won his first ATP title in Marrakech and reached his first Grand Slam quarter-final at Roland Garros.
