Kaluga governor reports 26 drones downed and nine people injured

Governor Vladislav Shapsha said 26 unmanned aerial vehicles were downed over the region overnight on October 9. According to him, nine people were injured and five were hospitalized.

Shapsha said the drones were destroyed over Kaluga and the Maloyaroslavetsky, Peremyshlsky and Ferzikovsky municipal districts. The governor posted the information about the attack and its effects on the morning of October 9.

He also reported damage to city infrastructure and two private houses. His statement did not specify the nature of the damage or the condition of those hospitalized.
