Moscow housing renovation relocation reaches more than 300 thousand residents
Moscow's housing renovation relocation programme has reached more than 300 thousand residents since it began, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said. About 700 thousand more people remain to be relocated.
The programme has operated since 2017 and covers roughly a million residents of about 5 thousand older buildings.
In Novogireyevo, 72 buildings are included and six residential complexes have been made available for relocation. A total of 397 families, comprising 1056 residents of four buildings on Svobodny Avenue and in Saperny Passage, are moving into new flats.
Sobyanin said almost 30% of the district's renovation programme had been completed. Another residential building is under construction on Federativny Avenue.
