Mannarino beats Vukic in Almaty opener

France's Adrian Mannarino defeated Australia's Aleksandar Vukic 7–6 (7–4), 4–6, 6–3 in his opening match at the ATP 250 tournament in Almaty.

Mannarino took the opening set on a tie-break before Vukic levelled the match by winning the next set. The Frenchman then won the deciding set.

The match lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes. Mannarino, ranked 79th in the ATP rankings, advanced to the second round. Vukic, ranked 116th, was eliminated from the singles competition.
