Maria Filina wins age-category title at international beauty pageant
Maria Filina, a 50-year-old food blogger from Moscow, placed first in her age category at Ms. and Mrs. United Nations 2026. Russian organisers reported the result to TASS on October 11.
The final show took place on October 10. Contestants included representatives from Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Nepal and other countries.
Filina has previous experience at international beauty competitions. In 2019, she won the Classic category at Mrs. Universe in Bulgaria. She said her 50th birthday inspired her to enter another international pageant.
The competition week included cultural events, excursions, charitable and social activities, meetings with representatives of the host side and preparations for the final show. After the event, Filina thanked organisers from India and Russia.
She said she competed wearing number 15 and received the winner's sash and crown. Filina described her return to the international stage as an effort to show that age need not prevent women from pursuing new achievements.
