Moscow opens bookings for January 2027 holiday weddings

Moscow’s civil registry offices have begun accepting applications for marriage registration during the 2027 New Year holidays. The first ceremonial weddings are scheduled for Jan. 5 at the Kutuzovsky Wedding Palace.
Moscow registry chief Svetlana Ukhaneva announced the holiday timetable. Moskva news agency and Moscow 24 reported the information on Oct. 13.
Ceremonies will take place at the Tagansky Palace on Jan. 6. Wedding Palace No. 1 and the Mitinsky Palace are scheduled to host registrations on Jan. 7, followed by the Shipilovsky Palace on Jan. 8.
Couples will also be able to marry on the final day of 2026. Wedding Palaces Nos. 1 and 4 are scheduled to operate on Dec. 31.
The institutions return to normal schedules on Jan. 9. The holiday timetable assigns specific dates to the venues rather than opening all five every day from Jan. 5 to 8.
Applications allow couples to plan a ceremony in advance. The timetable does not guarantee that a preferred date and time remain available.
