Orenburg Region agrees machinery discounts and tractor purchase plans

Orenburg Region announced machinery supply agreements on October 9 for its farms in 2027, including discounts on harvesters and tractors and a plan to buy up to 130 tractors.
Deputy governor and agriculture minister Sergey Balykin signed agreements at Moscow’s Golden Autumn 2026 and Agrosalon exhibitions. Officials said Rostselmash would offer discounts of up to 5% on forage harvesters and 10% on 2000 and 2001 4WD tractors.
Under an agreement with Petersburg Tractor Plant, the region plans to buy up to 130 K-7 and K-5 tractors. Farms would receive the federal-subsidy discount plus 500,000 rubles.
An agreement with Belarusian manufacturer Gomselmash would broaden the range of grain and forage harvesters supplied to the region. Officials expect the deals to accelerate fleet renewal ahead of the next farming season.
