Razin says he declined unearned money when leaving Metallurg

Andrei Razin told Sport-Express that he left Metallurg without taking money he regarded as unearned. The coach said he could have continued receiving payments under his previous agreement.

Razin described his decision as fair to the Magnitogorsk club. He also said he knew the reasons for his dismissal but would not disclose them.

He had coached Metallurg since 2023. The club temporarily suspended him from working with the team on October 6.

SKA announced the 52-year-old's appointment as head coach on October 18. He replaced Igor Larionov at the St Petersburg club.
