Ryanair Rome flight lands in Dublin after emergency signal

A Ryanair aircraft that transmitted emergency code 7700 on its flight from Rome landed in Dublin on October 13. Flight data reviewed by RIA Novosti and an update from The Aviation Hub confirmed the landing.

The aircraft departed Rome at 12:52 Moscow time and landed at Dublin International Airport at 15:36 Moscow time, according to RIA's flight-data account.

The Aviation Hub identified the service as FR5569 and reported that the emergency signal was transmitted over Wales. The aircraft continued to its destination. The outlet did not establish the reason for the emergency declaration.

Code 7700 denotes a general onboard emergency. It does not by itself identify a particular technical fault or other incident, and it does not mean a crash is inevitable. The confirmed outcome in this case is the landing in Dublin.
