S7 flight from Novosibirsk to Makhachkala lands safely in Omsk

S7 flight 7099 from Novosibirsk to Makhachkala landed safely at its alternate airport in Omsk on October 19. The crew diverted for a technical reason, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said.

The aircraft landed at Omsk-Tsentralny International Airport. The airline also confirmed that a technical fault had prompted the diversion.

Prosecutors are checking compliance with flight safety legislation and the provision of services that passengers are entitled to receive during a flight delay.
