Train services fully restored on Bryansk region rail section
Train services have resumed in full between Poluzhye and Vygonichi in Russia’s Bryansk region after railway workers completed repairs, the Moscow Railway press service said.
Traffic on the section was disrupted after drones attacked a railway bridge in Vygonichi district on October 10, damaging the track.
The disruption affected the Bryansk–Unecha–Gomel route. Long-distance and suburban trains temporarily changed their routes, while buses carried passengers on some sections during the repair work.
Rail infrastructure in Bryansk region had also been damaged in an earlier incident in May. A drone strike at Unecha station injured a locomotive driver and his assistant and damaged the locomotive, according to the report.
