Voronezh governor reports 55 drones destroyed overnight

Air defences destroyed 55 drones over Russia’s Voronezh region overnight into October 9, Governor Alexander Gusev said. Preliminary information from the regional authorities indicated no casualties.

Gusev posted the figures on his MAX channel. He said air defence units detected and destroyed the aircraft above three urban districts and eight other districts.

Debris damaged one car in the south of the region. Gusev described the casualty information as preliminary and did not identify the settlement where the vehicle was damaged.
