World champions Loginov and Nadyrshina receive FIS neutral status

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation has granted neutral status to Russian snowboarders Dmitry Loginov and Sofia Nadyrshina, its press service said on October 14.
Loginov, 26, is a three-time world champion, having won his titles at the 2019 and 2021 championships. He also competed at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Nadyrshina, 23, won the parallel slalom world title in 2021 and competed at the 2022 Olympics. Other Russian snowboarders listed as holding neutral status include Nikita Abozovik, Polina Karimova and Kristina Paul.
FIS previously eased its rules for Russian athletes entering international competitions. The federation removed a provision barring competitors who represent CSKA and other sports organisations affiliated with the armed forces.
