Appeal court upholds recovery of more than 44 million rubles for Blinovskaya's bankruptcy estate

Russia's Ninth Arbitration Appeal Court rejected entrepreneur Tatyana Ostapishina's challenge to an April order to return funds.
RIA Novosti reported the outcome of the October 13 hearing, citing a source familiar with the proceedings. The Moscow Arbitration Court's order was left unchanged. Elena Blinovskaya's financial administrator, Maria Oznobikhina, had filed the recovery request.
The administrator's representative told the court that Ostapishina received payments for Blinovskaya's online courses without conducting an independent business. He argued that transferring the blogger's funds to the entrepreneur's personal account was unlawful.
Ostapishina had previously challenged the court's acceptance of the administrator's application, arguing that the deadline for contesting transactions had expired. The courts did not accept that position.
Blinovskaya was declared bankrupt in November 2024 and entered an asset sale procedure. The current dispute concerns funds for her bankruptcy estate. The upheld recovery order does not establish that the money has already been transferred.
