Axios reports Witkoff and Kushner are considering Moscow and Kyiv visits

Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are considering visits to Moscow and Kyiv next week to discuss peace proposals, Axios reported on October 10, citing a US official. The trip has not been confirmed.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously said a visit could be expected, while adding that the Kremlin did not know whether it would take place within that timeframe. His comments also did not establish an arrival date for the American representatives.

US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law, visited Moscow and Kyiv in September. They discussed possible paths towards ending the conflict as Washington stepped up its mediation efforts.

According to Axios, the new journey remains under consideration. The report does not establish an agreed meeting schedule or approval of the peace proposals.
